Week 33 - "Missionary Super Bowl" aka Conference

Hi! I had a good week.

The week started off with a nice little miracle. We scheduled a lesson with a guy we met on the street. The day before he called and canceled. This is actually pretty typical, so it wasn’t a huge surprise. As missionaries we get let down a lot....  ;( ;( BUT, the next day he randomly called us, and asked to meet! So we had a really great lesson with him that day about the Plan of Salvation :)

The rest of the week was pretty normal.
On Saturday, we played soccer that morning, and we had a lot of youth from the ward that showed up, so that was great! As we were walking back to our car, I realized our car was gone. For a split second I had a panic attack and I thought that someone stole our car! Then the Elders looked a little suspicious.... and got in their car and said 'hope you find your car!' and drove off....

APRIL FOOLS! They hid our car, and we had to go find it.... luckily it wasn't too far. Now we are plotting on how we can get them back!
That night we had dinner at a member’s house. They are kind of American/ Danes, so they gave us and cute little Easter egg hunt! It was super fun.

Then we all drove to another members’ house and watched the Saturday morning session of conference.
Sunday, we went to the stake center in Søborg and watched the Saturday afternoon session and Sunday morning session. In between sessions Søster O’Byrant made us chili :) That was fun to hang out  with a bunch of missionaries and watch conference. It really is like the missionary super bowl; we are all passing around snacks, and talking about the speakers and making bets who will speak next ha-ha.
It was a great end to a missionary week!
Love,
Søster Jones
